About The Position

Provides system-level leadership in advancing financial assistance strategy, affordability modeling, and institutional capability across the A&M System. This role designs strategic frameworks, analytic tools, and professional development supports that strengthen recruitment competitiveness, improve persistence outcomes, and enhance the effectiveness of financial aid and student account operations - while preserving campus operational authority.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, education, organizational design or a related field.
  • Ten years of extensive experience working in enrollment management (e.g., admissions, registrar, financial aid) and/or academic advising.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to ensure understanding.
  • Position requires in-state travel (sometimes overnight) to Texas A&M University System campuses.
  • Periodic out-of-state travel to national conferences/training.
  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Responsibilities

  • Development of systemwide affordability frameworks, aid leveraging models, discount rate analysis, net price positioning, and tuition revenue predictability tools.
  • System liaison work with campus financial aid, business, enrollment, and advising leaders; consultation on application of system frameworks; facilitation of cross-campus strategy discussions.
  • Design of systemwide financial literacy and wellness frameworks; integration into advising and onboarding models; development of shared tools and dashboards.
  • Alignment of financial strategy with recruitment yield and persistence outcomes, including aid renewal frameworks, reenrollment risk indicators, and mid-year financial intervention models.
  • Leadership of systemwide initiatives, pilots, convenings, and cross-functional projects related to affordability, financial strategy, and student mobility; coordination with other executive portfolios.
  • Policy recommendations, monitoring regulatory developments, participation in state/national associations, and representation of the System in external financial strategy conversations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
