Leads the assessment, development, and execution of a broad range of strategic, business development, growth and partnership activities. Identifies and qualifies potential growth opportunities such as joint ventures and creative partnerships with health systems, hospitals, ambulatory centers, physicians, and other businesses. Develops, implements, and monitors strategic and regulatory capacity initiatives through the strategic planning process as well as the Department of Health’s Certificate of Need (CON) process. Manages complex and comprehensive planning functions. Develops and manages relationships to ensure effective planning. Interacts with all layers of Governance, administrative and physician leadership, consultants, and other external health care organizations. Major areas of accountability include strategic planning, general planning, partnership development, certificate of need, environmental assessment, needs assessment, and competitive and market intelligence.
