The Director, Group Operations is responsible for the continuous, effective operations of all physician group practice offices directly assigned to position. This may include primary care and/or specialty care group practice locations with a focus on several offices in various locations. The Director works with the Chief Operating Officer, front line managers, and staff to improve the quality of care, strengthen the financial performance of the group practice offices, and to improve patient, physician, and employee satisfaction. In conjunction with medical staff leadership, including Senior Medical Director, Physician Department Chairs, and Physician Team Leaders, the Director develops and implements business plans for existing and future departments and programs. The role involves leading by example and working with the team to reduce infrastructure and to promote high value performance. This is a management position.
