About The Position

Savage X Fenty is currently looking for a Director of Social Media How Do You Fit In? As the Director of Social Media at Savage X Fenty you will be responsible for defining and executing an innovative social media strategy in addition to developing campaigns that deliver measurable business results. This position collaborates with key internal stakeholders across PR, Creative, Product, Marketing and Merchandising to create the social content strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic planning within the social and digital space and experience developing and implementing highly successful social media campaigns. This position will report to the Chief Marketing Officer.

Requirements

  • 5 - 7+ years Digital Marketing experience with a focus in Social Media.
  • Experience within the Fashion and/or Beauty industry (e-commerce subscription model is a plus).
  • Well versed in digital media including new and emerging platforms.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and project management skills.
  • Strong leader and team player in addition to experience a team working across multiple platforms.
  • A passion for social media and highly active within your personal social presence.
  • Experience working with and promoting brand initiatives.
  • Proven knowledge executing successful content strategies.
  • Enthusiastic team player with the flexibility to re-prioritize, multi-task and switch tasks fluidly.
  • Proven ability to plan and organize major marketing programs.
  • Strong communication skills; external, internal collaboration and negotiation.
  • Proven track record of excellence in fast-moving marketing division/company.

Responsibilities

  • Develop social media strategies that expand brand awareness, drive customer growth and ultimately increase conversion.
  • Serve as the lead business driver for Savage X Fenty Social Media channels to devise, monitor and optimize campaigns to meet KPIs.
  • Drive innovation across all Savage X Fenty social channels, remaining up to date on new technology, platforms, macro trends and competitor activities to apply to strategic plans.
  • Expand the fan base across the brand’s owned social channels by attracting new followers and transforming current followers into brand advocates.
  • Drive meaningful fan engagement across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Snapchat.
  • Devise unique and creative social media campaigns to drive value while aligning with the brand voice.
  • Oversee and manage planning, content calendars, reporting, and optimizations across all social platforms.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure goals are aligned.
  • Partner closely with the brand partnerships team to create and/or leverage aspirational user-generated content while driving brand awareness.
  • Manage, coach and lead social media team.
  • Direct and drive third party digital vendors including fee negotiations.
  • Manage budgets and allocation of funds across social channels while closely monitoring and driving return on investment.
  • Drive the development of social creative across all owned platforms and partner with the creative team.
  • Meet ongoing deadlines in an often fast-paced environment.
