Summary: The Director, Servicing Governance Oversight leads the design, execution, and continuous improvement of servicing governance and audit programs across the organization. This role is responsible for developing new audit test requirements, enhancing existing control frameworks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory, investor, and internal policies. This position requires deep expertise in mortgage servicing operations, regulatory compliance, and risk management, along with strong technical capabilities in data analysis and reporting. The Director will leverage data platforms such as Snowflake, SQL, and business intelligence tools to monitor performance, identify risks, and drive actionable insights. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain servicing governance frameworks across all lines of business. Design and execute audit testing strategies, including development of new test requirements and enhancement of existing controls. Ensure compliance with regulatory, investor, state, and federal guidelines. Lead servicing audits and control assessments, identifying gaps, risks, and remediation strategies. Partner with Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Operations teams to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements. Oversee and manage third-party/vendor relationships including performance monitoring and compliance adherence. Develop and maintain control documentation, audit procedures, and governance standards. Utilize Snowflake and SQL to extract, analyze, and validate servicing data. Build dashboards and reporting using Tableau or similar tools. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and control failures. Establish and track key risk and performance indicators. Lead issue management and remediation efforts. Provide executive-level reporting on audit outcomes and risks. Continuously improve governance processes. Lead and mentor team members. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Deep understanding of government regulations and policies, particularly in the mortgage industry Excellent knowledge of compliance frameworks and audit processes related to mortgages Strong leadership and team management skills Exceptional communication and negotiation skills Analytical and strategic thinking abilities Minimum of 10 years of experience in government relations, compliance, audit, and mortgage roles Proven track record of successfully managing mortgage compliance and audit functions Experience working with regulatory agencies, government officials, and mortgage industry stakeholders Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field required 8–10 years of mortgage servicing experience in compliance, audit, or governance Strong knowledge of servicing regulations and investor guidelines Experience developing audit frameworks and control testing Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar platforms Advanced SQL and data analysis skills Experience with Tableau or BI tools Experience managing vendors and third-party oversight Strong leadership experience Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None Required Work Complexity: Problems and issues faced are difficult.
