Responsibilities

  • Develop and own Transcarent’s long-term SEO strategy for D2C, including technical SEO, content SEO, local SEO (if applicable), and emerging search opportunities.
  • Create and execute a data-backed roadmap that drives measurable organic growth across priority lines of business.
  • Partner with Brand, Content, Product, and Growth Marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all digital initiatives.
  • Lead technical SEO audits, diagnostics, and ongoing site health improvements related to crawlability, indexing, site speed, IA, schema, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Product to implement technical optimizations and scalable SEO infrastructure.
  • Establish processes and tools for monitoring ranking performance, site quality, and search visibility.

  • Work with internal and external writers to ensure content meets both brand standards and search intent.
  • Identify opportunities to build domain authority through content, editorial partnerships, and digital PR.

  • Lead ongoing experimentation and testing to refine SEO strategies (content formats, metadata, internal linking, etc.).
  • Collaborate with Analytics to define KPIs, reporting frameworks, and attribution models for organic growth.
  • Serve as the primary SEO expert and evangelist across the organization.
  • Lead agency partners, contractors, and cross-functional teams involved in SEO initiatives.
  • Influence broader product, content, and brand strategy through insights from search trends, consumer intent, and competitive analysis.
