Overview The Director | Senior Director of Global Healthcare Value & Access (gHCVa), Contractor is responsible for developing and operationalizing relevant strategies for pipeline assets in development focused in orphan and rare diseases. The gHCVa Director | Senior Director will be responsible to ensure the asset in development targets the area of highest unmet need. The role will provide strategic direction globally to ensure assets in development secure a price point that is reflective of the innovation being commercialized. The gHCVa Director | Senior Director will work closely with global and regional cross-functional development colleagues as well as affiliate-level colleagues responsible for commercializing assets in development to develop an integrated evidence generation plan that will support the differentiating value proposition of the asset. Position is responsible for delivering on asset-specific projects such as payer & related-stakeholder research, defining the value proposition, informing pricing strategy & policy. value communication, evidence generation & synthesis such as disease burden studies, global value dossier, and global health economic models. The position is part of Global Scientific Operations (GSO) which also includes Global Epidemiology & Real World Evidence and Global Medical Affairs. The three functions within GSO collectively inform the scientific narrative that defines and addresses unmet need, informs the value proposition, and identifies where in treatment strategy the asset in development helps to optimize patient and health system outcomes.
