About The Position

We're looking for a highly strategic and experienced Director of Retail Employee Experience to redefine the employee experience for our retail teams. This role will lead the vision, strategy, and execution for all retail-facing communications and learning and development initiatives, directly impacting the engagement, growth, and effectiveness of over 5,000 employees across the US and Canada. As a leader in a highly visible role, you'll partner with senior leadership to build a culture where employees feel informed, supported, and empowered to succeed. This position reports to the Senior Director, US Retail & Omni Channel Operations and will manage a team of five direct reports. Develop and execute a comprehensive communication and learning strategy that aligns with business goals, covering everything from daily operational updates to long-term career development. Lead the overall communication strategy and content development for all retail stores, including critical updates on consumer experience, operations, recognition, and engagement. Create and deliver high-impact presentations, speeches, and videos for senior leaders, including the VP of Retail. Own and manage all field events and conferences, while also developing a comprehensive recognition and contest strategy that motivates and inspires our retail teams. Build and oversee a robust learning and development program for all levels of our retail organization—from stylists to district managers. This includes creating and managing content for onboarding, service, operational, and product training. Leverage data, insights, and feedback to continuously improve and elevate training programs, embracing a growth mindset to innovate how we communicate and train. Evaluate and improve team processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and consistency in how we deliver communications and training. Oversee communication and learning management systems, partnering with global teams on enhancements and platform changes to ensure a seamless employee experience. Mentor, inspire, and develop a team of five to execute the strategy and achieve departmental goals.
