The Director of Projects Engineering Services is accountable for the strategic planning, oversight, and execution of capital infrastructure investments in gas systems for BGC, CNG, and SCG exceeding $150 million annually and engineering functions that support construction, operations, and regulatory compliance. This role leads the Gas Engineering functions, including: Construction Engineering, Standards Engineering, and System Planning. This position manages over 120 engineering employees, both management and bargaining unit. Construction Engineering ensures the design and implementation of infrastructure projects that align with: corporate strategy, regulatory requirements, and evolving environmental policies, while supporting safety, innovation, and operational excellence across the gas systems. Standards Engineering is responsible for: distribution and transmission integrity management plans and associated projects, research and development, materials, construction standards, and operations and maintenance procedures. System Planning is responsible for: maintenance and application of hydraulic models, gate and regulator station equipment assessment and recommendations including project development, development of projects and strategic business plans, connection of renewable natural gas, and recommendations to address system vulnerabilities.
