Learn more about why it's an exciting time to join Precisely! Overview: The Director, Professional Services leads and owns Precisely’s Data Quality and Governance PS practice. This role sets the services strategy and offerings, partners with Sales on go-to-market and services bookings, and carries P&L responsibility for the segment. The Director leads delivery teams to implement Precisely solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with measurable outcomes and high customer satisfaction, while coaching and developing the team.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of professional experience in a technical industry delivering client-facing projects.
  • Knowledge and expertise in data quality, data governance, data management, and/or the data-centric domain space, with experience delivering solutions leveraging industry products.
  • Proven experience leading high-visibility, complex engagements for Fortune 500 companies.
  • Exceptional client relationship skills, with the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to senior customer executives.
  • Proven success scaling and growing a professional services business while meeting revenue and P&L targets.
  • Strong leadership and people-development skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with fluid priorities, showing independent initiative and drive.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams globally, including work hours outside of North America time zones.
  • Travel is required: Yes, approximately 25%

Nice To Haves

  • Strong experience with SaaS solutions, leading and emerging cloud technologies, and corresponding services.
  • Domain knowledge in Financial Services, Insurance, Telecommunications, Energy, or CPG is preferred.
  • Familiarity with leading enterprise tools such as MDM solutions, SAP (or similar ERP solutions), Salesforce, Markit, Bloomberg, leading and emerging cloud technologies, and ETL solutions.
  • Experience with Suite Projects Pro (or similar PSA), SFDC, NetSuite, and Coupa.
  • M&A experience supporting and integrating professional services offerings is a plus.
  • AI skills and experience to drive internal productivity, as well as experience building agentic/AI based solutions for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in functional and technical discovery calls with clients, Precisely Account Executives, and Sales Engineers to understand customer requirements, align services offerings to business outcomes, articulate the services value proposition, and drive services bookings.
  • Lead services teams implementing a variety of Precisely software solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and with the highest customer satisfaction.
  • Scope projects, prepare SOWs, and partner with Sales to grow services revenue.
  • Track and report KPIs and metrics to assess practice performance, and represent the business segment in monthly operating reviews and revenue forecast calls.
  • Drive actions to meet and exceed bookings, revenue, and P&L targets.
  • Build relationships with customer executives and sponsors, and establish yourself as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders (up to C-level) through thought leadership in governance and quality and deep knowledge of the Precisely software portfolio.
  • Partner with Engineering, Support, and Product Management to resolve product-related implementation issues.
  • Identify, develop, and sell new consulting and professional services offerings to grow revenue.
  • Optimize PS delivery methods to implement Precisely solutions more efficiently, improving margin and project profitability.
  • Support acquisition and integration activities for Professional Services.
