Implementations are complex, regulated, and deeply tied to how government teams operate day to day. Professional Services has done the hard work of getting customers live. Now it’s time for the next chapter: scale, predictability, and repeatable outcomes—without losing speed or customer trust. We’re hiring a Director of Professional Services to bring structure where it’s still taking shape. This role is for someone who has built and scaled services organizations before—someone who knows how to introduce rigor without slowing teams down. Requirements

  • 8–12+ years leading Professional Services, Implementations, or Delivery in a SaaS environment
  • Proven success guiding teams through growth, change, or operational maturity
  • Hands-on experience with complex software implementations
  • GovTech or regulated environments strongly preferred
  • You’ve built metrics—not just reported on them
  • Deep understanding of utilization, margin, forecasting, and capacity planning
  • Strong grounding in formal project management principles
  • A track record of adding structure to scrappy or ad-hoc teams
  • Clear, direct, and steady under pressure
  • Comfortable making trade-offs and saying no when needed
  • You bring order without slowing teams down
  • Systems-oriented, but pragmatic
  • Customer-centric without losing sight of scalability and the business
  • Curious and skeptical—you’re always asking, “What breaks next if we grow?”

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting public sector or highly regulated customers
  • Familiarity with SaaS financial models tied to services revenue
  • Strong partnership experience with Product and Engineering

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale a modern Professional Services function
  • Lead and develop a seasoned team responsible for onboarding, implementations, integrations, and go-lives
  • Introduce delivery discipline—frameworks, role clarity, capacity planning, and clear escalation paths
  • Design one-time and recurring services offerings that balance customer outcomes, delivery speed, and margin
  • Own execution for complex SaaS implementations
  • Oversee multiple, concurrent, multi-phase implementations with government and public sector customers
  • Partner closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Support to manage dependencies and handoffs
  • Ensure customers reach value quickly while navigating regulatory, data, and process complexity
  • Deliver projects on time, on scope, and on budget—with high customer satisfaction
  • Establish metrics that actually drive decisions
  • Define, track, and improve KPIs such as: Time to value and time to go-live Implementation margin and utilization On-time, on-scope delivery CSAT and post-implementation health
  • Build dashboards and operating rhythms that turn data into action—not noise
  • Assess what’s working, what’s broken, and what needs to evolve—then fix it
  • Create repeatable playbooks without over-engineering
  • Coach managers and ICs through growth, change, and ambiguity
  • Serve as the executive face of Professional Services in internal planning and key customer conversations
  • Influence product roadmap decisions using real-world implementation insights
  • Translate strategy into execution, even when the path isn’t fully paved
