The Omnichannel Services and Solutions (OSS) team delivers digital marketing technology, solutions and services across all business units and markets within Pfizer and is part of the Commercial Creation Center & CDI (C4) organization in Pfizer Digital , enabling the delivery of solutions and services which are both compliant but also in line with Pfizer technology and commercial strategies. As the Head of Product Enablement & Delivery for OSS, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing a team of project & program managers responsible for key patient-facing mobile apps, portals, and special projects. Working with the Chief Marketing Office as your primary customer, you will serve as a strategic partner and technical leader, collaborating cross-functionally to drive the delivery of innovative, high-performing digital experiences for our clients. ROLE SUMMARY Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute the strategic vision for patient-facing mobile apps, portals, and special projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Serve as a strategic thought leader, contributing to the roadmap and vision for next-generation products and services. Serve as the technical / functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing technical direction to the CMO / business teams. Team Management : Lead, mentor, and manage a team of contractors – project/program managers & business analysts, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to ensure high performance and effective project execution. Foster a culture of accountability, professional growth, and teamwork. AI Fluency & Innovation Management: Embrace AI as a collaborative partner, promoting a mindset shift from fear to curiosity. Encourage experimentation, iteration, and the use of AI tools & techniques to elevate productivity and creativity. Lead by example in using tools like Microsoft Copilot and other AI platforms to streamline operations, such as hiring, reporting, and content creation. Identify and champion AI use cases across domains, including contract analysis, workflow orchestration, and intelligent search Project Oversight : Provide guidance and support for the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple patient-facing mobile apps and portal projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Monitor project/program progress and address any issues or risks that arise proactively. Stakeholder Collaboration : Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including CMO, Platform Engineering, Global Support & Operations and vendors, to ensure successful project outcomes and alignment with user needs and expectations. Realize and execute on CMO vision of a consistent experience for patients across our various platforms and assets. Product Development : Drive the development and enhancement of highly complex patient-facing websites, ensuring they meet user requirements, industry standards, and regulatory compliance. Focus on enhancing patient engagement and experience through user-friendly and accessible digital solutions. Ensure solutions comply with healthcare regulations, privacy standards, and data security protocols. Budget Management : Develop and manage budgets for products and programs, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial constraints. Innovation and Trends : Stay abreast of industry trends especially in the areas of emerging AI technologies, and drive the need to partner with the business on “greenhousing” and actively seek out and engage in the usage of AI tools to facilitate various aspects of SDLC. Foster a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement within the development team. Lead initiatives to explore new digital channels, concepts and tools that can improve patient care and engagement. Communication : Maintain clear and effective communication channels with team members, stakeholders, and senior leadership. Provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and achievements serving as the primary point of contact for senior leadership. Influences senior management decisions that have impact on technology & business directions. Technical Expertise : Utilize knowledge in Pfizer’s standard platforms and technologies such as Adobe Workfront, Assets, Adobe Franklin, Web Builder, Newton and Stratus to ensure solutions are properly architected to enable a great degree of reuse, quality and maintainability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering or Technology Management preferred plus 8+ years of experience leading solution delivery teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment or Masters degree plus 7+ years of experience
  • Proven track record of delivering complex software projects that achieve strategic business goals.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills to navigate cross-functional dynamics.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and mentor junior team members.
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and familiarity with Pfizer's products and services is essential.
  • Proven track record of driving the adoption of Agile/Scrum methodologies and fostering a high-performing, collaborative work environment.
  • Deep technical expertise and vision for evolving digital solutions to meet emerging customer needs.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to align diverse groups around a common mission.
  • Demonstrated experience as an information technology professional in the web.
  • Strong skills relative to management, analysis, design, installation, integration and maintenance of applications and related business processes.
  • Strong knowledge of web-based marketing concepts as applicable to Customer marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of mobile web and application concepts as applicable to Customer marketing.
  • Project planning, management, and organization skills.
  • Proven experience working with business teams developing and delivering strategy and operating plans with demonstrated competency in strategic thinking, and relationship management.
  • High level of awareness of internal and external technology trends.
  • This position requires permanent work authorization in the United States.
