About The Position

HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the Interim Director of Perioperative Services at a 325+ bed facility in Southern California. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Oversee the day-to-day surgical operations throughout the department. Will oversee multiple specialty areas throughout multiple ORs which also including GI, SPD, and PACU. This leader will strengthen relationships with surgeons, ensure smooth daily operations across surgical services, and proactively address challenges as they arise. Ideal candidate is a proven subject matter expert in perioperative services, capable of driving culture change and operational excellence. Exceptional collaboration, communication, and leadership skills are essential. Comfortable in a working enviroment.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) OR Associates in Nursing AND a Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Experience: 5+ years of recent management experience
• Strong communication, diplomacy and persuasiveness, analytical ability, strong judgment and managerial skills
• License: California RN license required
• Certifications: AHA BLS
• Computer Skills: Information systems experience (EPIC) and Microsoft Office suite
