About The Position

We are seeking a Medical Director, Perioperative Services -Anesthesia to: Lead anesthesia into the future to enhance remarkable care for patients in perioperative services. Support the team with a medically directed care model that fosters a collaborative environment while ensuring high quality care to patients. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop a best-practice and patient-centered model. Oversee business planning and operational activities. Along with relevant stakeholders, identify and review marketing trends, clinical best practices, and develop future plans for initiatives for UW Health. Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O Required
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience as a practicing physician. Required
  • Experience leading staff and oversight of multiple clinical functions. Required
  • Board certified with active medical license Required

Nice To Haves

  • MMM/MHA/MBA or equivalent Preferred
  • Administrative experience running a perioperative program in a large academic medical center or large private hospital setting. Demonstrated experience in Operating Room management. Preferred
