About The Position

The Director of Outsourcing Procurement is a high-impact leadership role responsible for architecting and executing the company’s global third-party service strategy. You will bridge the gap between operational needs and vendor capabilities, ensuring that our outsourced partnerships deliver maximum value, innovation, and risk mitigation. In addition to strategy, you will be a people-first leader, managing a team of procurement professionals and fostering a culture of high performance, negotiation excellence, and ethical sourcing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent, minimum
  • 10+ years of HR, Finance, Legal, or Real Estate experience (direct or in a supporting organization such as Procurement)
  • Minimum of 5 years of third-party management experience
  • Exemplary negotiation skills in a robust and large corporate procurement environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships across multiple organizations and with vendors at the highest levels
  • Accomplished in holding a team accountable to achieve measurable results, management experience preferred
  • Project management experience required with the ability to multi-task with high-volume throughput
  • Able to travel occasionally as needed to support business requirements

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships to partner with key stakeholders and senior leadership to understand strategic direction and business objectives and priorities to develop and execute effective sourcing strategies
  • Achieve business requirements while effectively capturing value
  • Overall responsibility for developing, communicating, and implementing procurement strategies for multiple Business categories
  • Develop and sustain strategic relationships with key suppliers
  • Evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning using industry cost models and benchmarking analysis tools
  • In-depth understanding of best-in-class procurement practices including extensive end-to-end experience in Sourcing processes, Negotiations, Supplier Analysis, Industry Analysis, and RFx expertise
  • Negotiate appropriate supplier agreements with Key Performance Indicators (KPI), Service Level Agreements (SLA), and Continuous Improvement efficiencies
  • Manage a small team of Category Managers, growing them to effectively evolve and execute the defined category strategies
