As the Director – Operations, you will be responsible for the performance of all operational functions of a large, complex location, or multiple remote locations. You will provide strategic leadership to meet and optimize established levels of business performance objectives, service, productivity, and quality. You will partner with leaders across Supply Chain, Operations, and all business units to drive continuous improvement. We are seeking a hands-on Director of Operations to lead a fast-paced, highly complex Wesco distribution and services facility in Reno. The ideal leader brings strong logistics and supply-chain experience, drives change, manages diverse teams, makes sound business decisions, and builds a positive, accountable culture while delivering operational excellence. Operating Environment: High-volume distribution and services facility Complex operations including Inbound, Outbound, Value-Add, Cutting/Spooling, and Supply Chain Services Rapidly changing business priorities requiring strong judgment and adaptability Logistics & Supply Chain Leadership Proven experience leading a complex distribution center Background in logistics, fulfillment, and value-added supply-chain services Ability to manage multiple operational areas simultaneously Strong Slotting strategy background Decisive and confident leader Strong communicator with transparency and follow-through Delivers results despite logistics and operational challenges Data-driven and calm under pressure Collaborative with Operations, Sales, and Support teams Reliable, flexible, and adaptable to change Balances results with people leadership
