About The Position

Responsible for the day-to-day supervision and execution of loan operations, servicing, and collateral management for the Equipment Finance Group “EFG.” This position will manage a team and help to ensure the highest levels of service quality, operational efficiencies, data integrity and compliance with policies and regulatory requirements are met.

  • Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or job-related field, or commensurate work experience over a like timeline, required.
  • 10+ years of work experience in commercial loan operations, loan servicing, or collateral management within a bank or financial institution, required.
  • 5+ years of management/supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises team members, offering guidance, direction, and support; ensures team members are trained in and compliant with processes and procedures; monitors and evaluates performance and ensures timely completion of daily activities such as loan closing and onboarding, loan payments, escrow disbursements, wires, billing, daily reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Partners effectively with management and other Bank personnel to assist in the closing, monitoring, and maintenance of the EFG loan portfolio.
  • Recommends process and quality improvements to enhance efficiency, service, and risk management.
  • Manages the coordination of various loan documentation and information prior to loan closing and manages new loan set up ensuring adherence to requirements per respective credit approval memos and credit agreements.
  • Serves as first point of contact on all matters relating to the EFG lending services; researches and resolves issues as needed.
  • Manages ongoing follow-up for collection and review of all required documentation and financial data as needed or as prescribed by their respective loan covenants and reporting requirements.
  • Ensures data integrity and accuracy of the loan system at all times and is responsible for the completion of ongoing loan maintenance.
  • Sets up, monitors, and trains new clients on reporting procedures and resolves reporting deficiencies or discrepancies; escalates issues as appropriate.
  • Performs proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation responsibilities related to the EFG, and provides risk decisions commensurate with required policy, procedures, and regulations.
  • Processes, examines, monitors, and reconciles client loan information with underlying collateral securing the transactions.
  • Processes, posts, reconciles, and decisions loan advance requests, loan balances, and loan availability daily in accordance with credit policy and authority.
  • Computes and reconciles collateral ineligibles and reserves in adherence to respective credit agreements.
  • Executes applicable risk programs and controls, including effectively adhering to policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, escalating and remediating issues effectively and timely, and making sound risk decisions.
