Responsibilities include oversight, implementation, optimization and compliance of accounting processes with rules and regulations provided by law, internal guidelines/policies and global best practices. Main responsibility areas include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Assessment and Truck Invoicing (Domestic and Foreign), Central Services (Intercompany Accounting, Vendor Payments and Master Data Management), Inventory and Travel Management (Concur), Fixed Assets, Insurance and Risk Management. Lead the following teams and ensure oversight of underlying functions: Accounts Payable and Banking: Invoice verification and disbursement of funds for all DTNA and DDC Group companies to ensure accuracy and timeliness, ensure support of bank account administration through Central Treasury operations. Credit Risk Assessment, Accounts Receivable, Invoicing, Collections: Truck invoicing to ensure accuracy and timeliness, collection activities and cash application for all dealer, direct and export customers, extension of credit and risk of loss to dealers, direct customers and export distributors, monitoring risks in fluctuating market cycles. Central Services: Intra- and inter-company transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness, payment desk processes of drafting, payments and check processing, customer and vendor Master Data record management Inventory & Travel Management: Raw materials and WIP truck inventory life cycle including inventory tracking, cycle counts, impairments, valuation and accurate costing, annual physical inventory count and management of non-controlled material, company credit card approval and user management process, expense/travel reports approval and monitoring process Fixed Assets, Insurance, Risk Management: Fixed asset life cycle through acquisition, in service, depreciation, impairment and disposal of fixed assets, execution of periodic cycle counts, management of insurance programs for all DTNA and DDC Group companies including contracts review, policy renewal, and claims facilitation, monitoring of risks across the organization in order to safeguard DTNA through local and global programs Process Ownership, CX, CI and Digitalization: Responsible for leading and supporting process design, performance, sustainability and continuous improvement efforts and initiatives, as well as the related systems and interfaces. Ensure expectation management with all partners, based on continuous KPI reporting, accurate problem analysis and measure assignment. Ensure team embraces Customer Focus through all aspects of operations Drive Finance Operations Digitalization (maximizing the utilization of automation, self-service portals, workflows, e-invoicing, data electronification, etc.) Special focus on upstream data quality improvements in order to allow for further extension of system driven efficiency improvements and implementation of platform strategies jointly with IT. Global Shared Services: Responsible for optimizing Finance Operations cost structure by using the global shared service network to outsource transactional work and increase the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the already significant offshore Finance Operations team by applying and enhancing best practice local and global processes.
