This individual will serve as a key leader, equally adept at diagnosing fermentation challenges on the floor as they are shaping strategy in leadership discussions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced commercial bakery, values precision and consistency, and is committed to continuously elevating product performance. The Director of Technical Baking is responsible for leading all aspects of baking science, product commercialization, and process optimization across izzio’s commercial bakery operations. This role focuses on scaling artisan processes, advancing baking technology, and improving production performance while maintaining the integrity of our products. As the organization’s technical authority on bread, this leader will play a critical role in enhancing production efficiency, supporting innovation, and driving continuous improvement across all bakery operations.
