Sabel Systems Technology Solutions, LLC is a leading solution provider and rapidly growing Information and Communications Technology Company specializing in innovative and agile Digital Engineering and Acquisition Technical Stack design, implementation, and support, Strategy and Policy Development, Financial Management, Software Solutions Development, Requirements Analysis and Training, to name a few. Our client base is mostly in the DoD Federal Government Contracting space and we also partner with prime Government Contractors such as Siemens, Booz Allen, McKinsey and have work in the commercial space as well. We provide clients with large business opportunities and training within our small business agility and people first culture. We're seeking a strategic leader to drive our talent acquisition efforts during this transformative period. You'll be joining a dynamic and highly motivated team with one goal: "Get quality and secure solutions in the customers hands as soon as possible”. The Director of Talent Acquisition will be a key member of the HR leadership team, responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to support our rapid growth. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Human Resources, this role will lead a team of recruiters, focusing on attracting top-tier talent across various functions. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a proven track record in scaling recruitment operations in high-growth environments, emphasizing diversity, efficiency, and employer branding. The Director of Talent Acquisition also plays a vital role in ensuring a positive candidate experience, from the initial application process through to onboarding, fostering a strong employer-employee relationship. By strategically managing the talent acquisition process, these professionals contribute significantly to building a skilled, motivated, and diverse workforce, which is crucial for our organization's success and growth.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years in talent acquisition or recruitment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role at a director level or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience leading talent acquisition efforts within DoD and government contracting (GovCon) environments, including familiarity with cleared and non-cleared roles, compliance requirements, and customer-driven hiring timelines.
  • Proven experience scaling teams in a high-growth company (e.g., from mid-size to enterprise scale) is essential.
  • Skills and Competencies: Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate business goals into actionable talent strategies.
  • Expertise in modern recruitment technologies (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS systems like Workday or Paycom).
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building and motivating diverse teams.
  • Data-savvy, with experience using analytics to drive decisions.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, diversity hiring practices, and global talent trends.
  • High energy, adaptability, and a results-oriented mindset suited for a fast-paced scaling environment.
  • Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a multi-year talent acquisition roadmap aligned with the company's growth objectives, including workforce planning, talent pipelining, and market analysis to identify key hiring needs as we scale from 300 to 1,000 employees.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing talent acquisition team, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring best practices in recruitment processes.
  • Recruitment Operations: Oversee end-to-end recruitment for all levels, from entry-level to executive roles, utilizing data-driven approaches to optimize sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Employer Branding and Sourcing: Enhance our employer brand through innovative marketing, partnerships with universities, diversity initiatives, and social media strategies to attract passive candidates in competitive markets. Collaborates with marketing and communication teams to showcase the company culture, values, and career opportunities.
  • Metrics and Analytics: Establish KPIs for talent acquisition (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, diversity metrics) and use analytics tools to measure success, report on progress, and refine strategies.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with department heads and executives to understand hiring needs, provide talent market insights, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with legal standards, promote diversity and inclusion, and incorporate emerging trends like AI-driven recruiting tools.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external recruiters, job boards, and ATS (Applicant Tracking System) providers to scale operations efficiently.
  • Diversity Initiatives: Play a pivotal role in promoting diversity within the organization. Develop strategies to attract a diverse range of candidates and ensure fair and unbiased recruitment practices.
  • Compliance and Legal Considerations: Stay updated on labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to hiring. Ensure that recruitment practices adhere to legal standards, maintain equal opportunity employment practices, and prevent any form of discrimination during the hiring process.
