About The Position

Fogelman Properties is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Director of Talent Acquisition & Engagement to oversee all recruitment and engagement activities for the company. This individual will partner with the SVP of Human Resources to develop and execute an overall recruitment and engagement strategy, as well as propose and initiate other strategic partnerships both internally and externally. This role will be responsible for ensuring fair and consistent recruiting practices while helping the company remain competitive in the market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in full-cycle recruiting and talent management
  • Proficiency in using HR technology systems, particularly Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Proven experience leading company-wide training programs.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing recruitment and engagement strategies.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to execute at both conceptual and tactical levels.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • experience in property management, hospitality, or multi-site operations strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a holistic recruitment and engagement strategy aligned with Fogelman’s business goals.
  • Lead, manage, and configure all recruiting and engagement platforms, ensuring seamless adoption, reporting, content governance, and functionality.
  • Provide oversight and quality control for all recruitment and engagement processes and programs, including tracking and measuring KPIs.
  • Use data to inform improvements, enhancements, and future development priorities.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in recruitment and engagement for multifamily real estate (i.e. incentive programs and other compensation).
  • Build and deliver training tools for hiring managers.
  • Facilitate the development of training for hiring managers, focusing on recruiting processes and best practices.
  • Ensure fairness and consistency in recruiting and hiring practices, including but not limited to job requisitions, candidate screening and selection, and new associate experience.
  • Support change management efforts by delivering training aligned with new initiatives, systems, or organizational transformations.
  • Organize hiring events, career fairs, and reverse trade shows.
  • Propose, organize, and implement engagement events, including but not limited to associate breakfasts and appreciation days for both corporate and property employees.
  • Attend and serve as a company ambassador at networking and other outside events.
