Director of Student Resources and Accessibility
About The Position
The Director of Student Resources/ Accessibility leads academic and housing accommodation processes for the university along with coordinating comprehensive academic support efforts (tutoring, supplemental instruction, and peer mentoring). This position will serve as the disability accommodation and student resource expert, overseeing service planning, administration, and evaluation; and meets with students to determine reasonable accommodations in compliance with ADA and Section 504 and other federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to persons with disabilities standards. The Director also oversees the delivery of accommodations coordination services to individuals with disabilities by engaging students to develop accommodation plans, providing support for students, referring students to appropriate campus resources, and providing education and training to campus and community partners.
