The Director of Strategic Outreach and Engagement is responsible for developing and implementing a broad range of outreach initiatives for the College of Education and Health Professions and engaging with the education and healthcare community, alumni, and partners across the state. The Director strives to increase stakeholder and alumni engagement, foster stronger external relationships, raise the college's profile, and amplify the statewide impact of the college’s research, teaching, and service functions. The Director will work closely with the Dean, the Dean’s office, and the communications team to help design an outreach and marketing strategy, identify key stakeholders and alumni, and develop tools and activities to reach the target audiences to foster relationships with potential partners and collaborators. Leveraging the strength of the college’s outreach units and research programs, the Director will work closely with faculty and staff to help identify potential grant collaborators, spotlight the innovative work happening in the college, and bring greater attention to the college’s research and outreach programs. The Director will also work with the Dean’s office and academic program leadership to identify potential future student clinical/internship placement partners and promote the college’s academic programs. This is an in-person position with a start date of July 1, 2026. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
