The Director of Engagement Strategy will provide leadership and strategic guidance for all digital projects and initiatives and RM programs for assigned accounts. The goal is to provide guidance that considers the customer's journey and lifecycle and to coordinate this with a channel plan that outlines the most efficient path to connect with that customer. Successful candidates will show a history of creating innovative and effective digital initiatives, customer loyalty programs and maximizing the usage of applicable customer data. Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field, preferably business, marketing, communications, analytics.
  • 10+ Years of Digital Strategy Experience: Healthcare and agency experience desired.
  • Data Expertise: Deep background in data creation, manipulation, analysis, and management.
  • Mobile Marketing Experience: Broad, evidenced experience in mobile marketing.
  • Digital Channel Expertise: Possess expertise in new and emerging digital channels, tactics, and media.
  • Integrated Marketing Knowledge: Experiential knowledge of integrated marketing and digital disciplines and Direct Marketing, including testing, tracking, and measurement.
  • Skills: Superior communication, budgeting, project management, and planning skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Thought Leader: Align digital marketing strategies with client business goals and objectives.
  • Client Communication: Act as a client thought leader in aligning integrated marketing strategies under a client’s business goals and objectives; direct client communication to sell new strategies and executions.
  • Process Improvement Lead: Serve as Agency lead for process improvement and other critical initiatives, as assigned.
  • Manage Engagement Team: Manage assigned Engagement Supervisors and Engagement Strategists to provide account teams with consistent, valuable, and relevant guidance.
  • Evaluate Digital and RM Programs: Lead efforts to evaluate digital and RM programs and tactics that coordinate multiple customer touch points to optimize successful consumer experience.
  • Identify Opportunities: Work with the account team to identify opportunities and determine and prioritize project scope and business specifications.
  • Provide Strategic Insights: Support new business opportunities with strategic insights and guidance.
  • Leadership in Digital Analysis: Demonstrate leadership and expertise in key digital analysis and performance, including Google Analytics, SEO, UX/UI.
  • Client Team Education: Provide regular client team education on digital and RM philosophies, trends, and insights.
  • Manage Engagement Strategy Team: Directly manage digital strategy team members for all assigned accounts to determine client digital and relationship management needs and provide strategic framework to answer those needs.
  • Lead by Example: Be proactive, solution-oriented, and a curious learner.
  • Guide Junior Team Members: Help mentor junior team members as they grow their skills – provide training, mentorship, and leadership as needed.
  • Hire, Coach, and Develop Team Members: Assign projects to balance workloads and challenge team members' skills, ensuring projects showcase the agency's capabilities.
  • Provide Regular Feedback: Offer formal and informal feedback to Engagement team members to help grow their creative sensibilities and progress in their craft.
  • Perform Team Evaluations: Participate in performance reviews and provide coaching to create growth plans for team members as needed.
  • Create a Safe and Inclusive Work Environment: Encourage risk-taking and innovation, allowing others to express their ideas with confidence.
  • Infuse Psychological Safety into Teams: Facilitate participation, inclusion, and diversity of perspectives on your team and throughout the agency.
