PURPOSE OF JOB: The growth of the Strategic Alliance Program will benefit from additional support of a director-level individual who will be responsible for programs and activities at the management level. This role will focus on targeted GPOs & IDNs, will create a more robust and efficient selling environment for the US field team while assisting in growing opportunities, generating revenue, and enhancing corporate relationships. The Strategic Alliance Director will report to the VP, Strategic Alliances.

Requirements

  • Adaptable to a fast-paced environment
  • Will support the west coast region from Texas to California and must be able to accomodate that timezone support
  • Attention to detail and focus on the identification of potential issues and continuous improvement
  • Experience with internal systems, including Grand Avenue, Microsoft, and Dropbox, among others.
  • PowerPoint and Excel expertise
  • Buying trend analytics
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems experience
  • A bachelor’s degree at a minimum
  • Minimum of 8 years of work experience in sales/sales management (neurovascular medical device, pharma, biotech or life sciences preferred)
  • Previous GPO/IDN management experience
  • GPO/IDN negotiation and contracting experience
  • Marketing development experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Consistent track record of overall performance
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate to accomplish set goals

Responsibilities

  • Focus on growing the R92M relationship with targeted GPO/IDN, resulting in contracts & renewals for Route 92 Medical to conduct business
  • Collaborates with VP of Strategic Alliances, Commercial Leadership Team, Legal Counsel, Finance, Commercial Excellence, and Marketing to develop and execute GPO/IDN account strategies to meet and exceed corporate goals
  • Accountable for developing and coordinating the execution of the strategy with targeted GPOs/IDNs, driving contracts & renewals for access to our full portfolio
  • This is a customer-facing role and requires frequent engagement internally and externally with executives and physicians
  • Utilizes organizational analytics to develop strategies and dashboards that enable a strong understanding of the team's progress and opportunities across all products within GPO/IDN member hospitals
  • Evaluate markets and customers to identify and develop opportunities that will increase sales for all products and therapies
  • Understand, monitor, and communicate with VP, Strategic Alliances, the overall business climate within the targeted GPO/IDN marketplace, including industry trends
  • Execute price points and negotiate contracts in conjunction with the VP, Strategic Alliances, Legal Counsel, Finance, and other commercial executives
  • Consistently conduct business reviews, understand rebate programs, administration fees, and RFP responses to assist in the overall program growth
  • Proactively develop new approaches to meet the changing demands of the IDN/GPO marketplace
  • Contribute to the development of sales and marketing strategies to achieve sales targets
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, existing and new products & sales strategies within the GPO/IDN landscape
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time

  • This position offers a base salary of $195-$220k, plus a lucrative commission plan of $100k, paid quarterly + opportunity to get $10k per new account and $5k per renewal signed
