Offers Base salary up to $200,000 annually, based on experience, plus short-term incentive plan, and comprehensive benefits including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off & company holidays Tuition reimbursement for continued development Colleague broadband discounts What You’ll Do As the Director of Software Platform Engineering, you will: Drive Engineering Excellence Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring scalable, high-quality delivery Establish and enforce clean code standards and SOLID principles across teams Champion test-driven development (TDD) and robust code review practices Implement and optimize continuous integration pipelines for faster, higher-quality releases Lead AI-Driven Innovation Evaluate and implement AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) Establish governance frameworks for responsible AI usage in development Drive improvements in developer productivity, code quality, and speed to market Own Platform Performance & Strategy Define and execute a multi-year platform engineering roadmap Track and improve key metrics like deployment frequency, code quality, MTTR, and technical debt Lead technical debt reduction and code refactoring initiatives Ensure platform scalability, security, and long-term maintainability Lead & Align Teams Build and mentor engineering talent through coaching, career development, and technical leadership Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning Partner cross-functionally with Product, QA, Operations, and business leaders Align engineering execution with business priorities and customer outcomes Deliver Operational Excellence Own incident management and reliability improvements, including RCA and post-mortems Manage engineering budgets, including headcount, tooling, and vendor relationships Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data privacy standards What Success Looks Like Faster, more reliable software delivery with high code quality and low technical debt Adoption of AI-driven development practices across engineering teams Scalable, modern platform architecture supporting business growth Highly engaged, high-performing engineering teams Strong alignment between technology strategy and business outcomes Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements

10+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years leading engineering teams
Proven success leading platform modernization or transformation initiatives
Experience in Agile/SAFe environments at enterprise scale
Strong understanding of modern engineering practices (CI/CD, TDD, SOLID, DevOps)
Experience implementing AI-assisted development tools and governance frameworks
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into executive-level insights
Strategic leader with a builder mindset
Data-driven with strong engineering metrics and performance management expertise
Collaborative leader who can break down silos and align teams
Strong communicator with executive presence
Passionate about developing people and elevating engineering culture

Responsibilities
