About The Position

Description Title: Director of Security Location: San Francisco, CA – Class A High‑Rise Compensation: $110,000 annual base salary Schedule: Full-time; must support a 24/7 operation, including after-hours response and on-call coverage as required Key Responsibilities Leadership & Operations Management Direct all security operations for a Class A high-rise, ensuring a professional, service-forward security presence aligned with “observe and report” standards Manage scheduling, deployment, and performance to deliver 2,300 man-hours per week while maintaining post coverage and compliance Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and officers; set expectations for appearance, conduct, and customer service consistent with post orders and company standards Ensure staff adherence to the scope of work and route any client requests outside post orders for management approval Oversee emergency preparedness and response (medical, fire, hazardous materials, violence), including proper escalation, notification, and documentation protocols Ensure timely, accurate, and factual incident reporting; maintain logs and records per site requirements Conduct post inspections, implement corrective actions and operational improvements Access Control, Systems & Site Procedures Oversee access control and visitor/vendor/contractor processing, ensuring valid identification and authorization compliance Ensure effective use of systems commonly deployed in Class A high-rise environments (e.g., visitor management and access control platforms ) Maintain secure handling of sensitive site functions including after-hours access, property removal approvals, and loading dock controls Client Partnership & Executive Presence Serve as the primary security liaison to property management Provide clear operational updates, trend analysis, and solution-oriented recommendations Establish and maintain a “white-glove” security culture appropriate for a high-profile asset with VIP sensitivity Required Experience Minimum 5 years of high-rise security experience At least 3+ years as a (Security Director, Account Manager, Senior Operations Manager, or equivalent) for a Class A high-rise building Demonstrated success managing large-scale staffing models comparable to 2,300 man-hours per week Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting high-profile assets with VIP/celebrity adjacency and potential media attention Familiarity with union environments and multi-tenant commercial properties Work Requirements Availability for after-hours response and on-call rotation as required Are you interested in being part of our Team? Requirements
