As a Director of Sales, you bring high-energy, customer-centric focus and drive/hunger to the total sales efforts of the hotel. In other words, you get paid to make relationships! Do what you are passionate about : Grow and maintain relationships with key clients to produce topline business, including room, food & beverage, and catering/banquet revenues. Strategize, implement, and accomplish quarterly sales plans. Work in partnership with Regional Sales, Revenue and Operation teams forecasting & budgeting revenue and expenses. Lead and partner with operational departments relating to all sales outcomes. Champion brand and company reputation, cultivating relationships with local community groups, companies, entertain and/or travel to events to generate business. Proactively conduct sales blitzes, outside sales, inside sales, and/or new conversations to spark new leads. Be a closer! Negotiate, flex, adopt, maximize, optimize to close business.
