About The Position

Shape sales strategy for mission-critical interconnect solutions trusted across the Aerospace & Defense industry. A global products and services provider of aerospace and defense industry solutions, PIC Wire & Cable, an Angelus Company, has developed a reputation as a customer focused, innovative, collaborative, and reliable industry resource. We specialize in designing and manufacturing specialty, high-performance electronic cables, connectors, and assemblies, products that are trusted worldwide in critical military applications, including airplanes, helicopters, UAVs, and ground vehicles. We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Sales Operations (DSO) to lead customer service, pipeline management, and orders forecasting. As the organization’s ultimate customer advocate, the DSO ensures superior technical support, rapid responsiveness, and seamless customer experience—while shaping long-term Sales Operations strategy and driving tactical excellence in quoting, pipeline accuracy, and customer satisfaction to fuel sustainable, profitable growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, or business (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Sales or Customer Service leadership.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing direct reports.
  • Minimum 2 years of Aerospace & Defense industry experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop multi-year strategic outlooks, annual objectives, and quarterly initiatives, ensuring alignment across the organization.
  • Partner with Legal, Product Management, and Executive Leadership to implement Long-Term or Pricing Agreements with key customers.
  • Expand application knowledge, technical expertise, and solution-development tools so Sales Application Engineers achieve “Trusted Advisor” status.
  • Engage with Product Management, Engineering, and Project Management for opportunities requiring new product development or investment.
  • Own orders forecasting methodologies that consider existing business, market dynamics, customer feedback, and active opportunities.
