About The Position
Director of Music – Church of the Resurrection (New Albany, Ohio) Church of the Resurrection is seeking a full-time Director of Music to lead and strengthen our parish music ministry. This mission-critical role works closely with the pastor – Fr. Dave Sizemore, music teams, and staff to support the parish mission: to make disciples and disciple-makers. Our liturgical music reflects a balanced approach of traditional sacred music, contemporary music, and worship and praise music, helping parishioners worship God more deeply. The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic in good standing who loves Jesus Christ, loves people, and desires to serve the Church through prayerful, faithful, and beautiful liturgical music.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Catholic liturgy and liturgical music
- Proficiency in piano/keyboard and choral direction
- At least 3 years of parish or similar music leadership experience
Nice To Haves
- Master’s preferred; Bachelor’s or equivalent experience acceptable
Responsibilities
