General Position Summary: Responsible for the planning, training, scheduling, management, development, supervision, and overall effectiveness of the musical elements of the parish. Directs, coordinates, and/or performs music, which is liturgically appropriate for parish liturgies and other designated celebrations. Coordinates with clergy, staff, contract employees, ministries, and volunteers to ensure music is planned and performed in accordance with the Pastor’s vision and the liturgical requirements of the Catholic Church.
