About The Position

We are seeking a high-impact Director of Rooms to join our leadership team and drive excellence across our Rooms Division - leading the experience and elevating every stay. This is not just an operations role—it’s a guest experience leadership position at the heart of a luxury environment. Why This Role Matters As Director of Rooms, you are the engine behind the guest experience. From arrival to departure, your leadership ensures every detail is intentional, seamless, and elevated. You will directly oversee: Front Office Guest Services Reservations / PBX Housekeeping & Laundry Retail Shop You’ll also step in to support hotel operations in the absence of the General Manager—making this a key managerial presence on property.

Requirements

  • Proven hospitality experience (Rooms Division leadership essential)
  • A hands-on leadership style with a strong floor presence
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
  • Strong financial acumen and operational discipline
  • Weekend availability is required (this is a business-critical leadership role)
  • Must be highly visible, engaged, and accessible to both guests and team
  • Must bring professionalism, urgency, and a solutions-driven mindset every day
  • Leads from the front with energy and accountability

Responsibilities

  • Set the tone for a refined, high-touch service culture
  • Maintain a strong, visible presence—leading from the floor, not behind a desk
  • Personally oversee VIP arrivals, special requests, and service recovery
  • Drive daily operations with urgency, precision, and accountability
  • Ensure rooms are guest-ready at all times with flawless execution
  • Anticipate needs and solve problems before they impact the guest
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, labor strategy, and P&L performance
  • Align staffing with demand while maintaining premium service levels
  • Inspire, coach, and elevate department leaders and teams
  • Build a culture of pride, professionalism, and high standards
  • Ensure consistent training and alignment with luxury service expectations
  • Partner closely with Sales, Events, and Food & Beverage
  • Ensure seamless communication between Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Maintenance
  • Actively contribute to leadership meetings with strategic insight
