Director of Recruiting

Ingenius PrepPortland, ME

About The Position

Who We Are: InGenius Prep was founded in 2013 by law students at Harvard and Yale. In that time, the company has grown to a team of more than 200 full-time employees, 600 part-time employees, as well as offices in the U.S., Canada, China, amongst other countries. What We Do: Our primary focus is assisting students in applying to U.S. Colleges and Graduate schools. Our company is fast-paced and exciting. We operate as a team, and everyone is given opportunities to advance in the organization. How You’ll Help: We are looking for a leader to design and execute a forward-looking talent strategy that aligns with our business goals. As the Director of Recruiting, you will take full ownership of the recruiting department, while establishing practical processes across workforce planning, onboarding, and succession. You will thrive in this role if you enjoy fast-paced environments, lead by example, use data to drive decisions, and can balance high-level execution with leadership. What You’ll Do: Design a comprehensive talent strategy aligned with the company mission and growth objectives. Elevate our global talent capabilities by building a culture of 'hunting' rather than 'gathering.' You will evolve our model to support complex senior-level hiring, mentoring the team to abandon repetitive volume tactics in favor of bespoke, high-conversion strategies for top-tier leadership talent. Drive executive alignment through data-backed storytelling. You will redefine our reporting standards to focus on actionable insights rather than status updates, identifying gaps in our current datasets and presenting proactive solutions to leadership to accelerate hiring velocity. Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team, shaping hiring strategies and navigating workforce planning tradeoffs. Lead recruiting for high-impact roles across sales, marketing, and education, ensuring a seamless journey for every candidate. Build diverse talent pipelines by scouting for "grit" and looking both within and outside traditional industry boundaries. Manage the ATS and recruiting tools to ensure they remain scalable and data-driven
