SpiriTrust Lutheran is now hiring a Full-Time Community Life Enrichment Director for The Village at Sprenkle Drive in York, PA! This position is Full-Time, Mon-Fri.

Requirements

• B.S. or B.A. degree in related field.
• Speak and understand English
• Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills
• Proficient interpersonal relations and communication skills
• Knowledge of the social, psychological, and recreational needs of the aging
• Valid drivers license
• May need a CDL in some programs

Nice To Haves

• (2) Years experience in wellness and/or life enrichment programming preferred.
• Position is to be hired with priority for characteristics and qualities desired for the success of the Life Enrichment program at the community hired to serve (Identified in the attached).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for promoting a culture of wellness and the importance of achieving an optimal quality of life.
• Implements strategies for the planning, scheduling, and organizing of the wellness and recreational activities of the Community that promotes positive lifestyle choices.
• Strategies and programming are inclusive of all levels of care (Residential Living, Personal Care, Assisted Living, and Skilled Care).
• Provides oversight for the planning and implementation of Life Enrichment programs at the Community.
• Recognize your role as part of the QAPI efforts of you organization.
• Attend training to build understanding and capacity to undertake QAPI work.
• Carry out QAPI roles and responsibilities as assigned.
• Effectively manages the Community Life Enrichment budget.
• Collects community data and tracks community outcomes.
• Support educational initiatives to promote wellness as a lifestyle choice.
• Assume the job duties of Volunteer Coordinator
