Responsibilities

Meet with new patients to conduct initial comprehensive evaluation assessments (determine interests, appropriate level of engagement, and ability level).
Engage in one-to-one, ongoing sessions with patients, tailoring the program to each individual patient’s needs, interests, and potential areas of improvement.
Plan & execute safe, accessible recreation activities.
Utilize modalities such as games, music, and puzzles to support patient recovery and help improve their overall quality of life.
Be able to identify patient limitations, notice signs of agitation, and if patient is over- or under-stimulated.
Be able to adapt, change gears into an activity that brings happiness and enjoyment to the patient.
Build a relationship with our patients to become a trusted member of their care team.
Must have patience, be innovative, creative and have good communication, organizational and basic computer skills.
Be able to develop & maintain detailed reports and communicate
