The Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM), which oversees over $2 billion in capital programs and projects, is responsible for capital planning, project delivery, property management, and real estate services for the Commonwealth. DCAMM is a central agency in implementing several key policy priorities of the Healey-Driscoll Administration, including promoting decarbonization and climate resilience in all state facilities, identifying and facilitating opportunities to repurpose underutilized state property for housing production, and increasing the participation of underrepresented groups in public construction contracting and in the public construction workforce. General Statement of Duties and Responsibilities The Director of Project Delivery, within the Office of Design and Construction (ODC), is charged with overseeing the management of planning, design and construction projects for Commonwealth agencies that are focused on capital renewal. The incumbent manages an integrated team of project managers leveraging innovative approaches to project delivery and works collaboratively with senior stakeholders and clients representing agencies throughout the Commonwealth. The Director oversees planning, design and construction of assigned projects to ensure projects are designed and constructed on time, within budget and meet the quality standards of the Commonwealth. The Director provides guidance and interprets policy to the staff, and holds ultimate accountability for all assigned projects. The Director communicates agency priorities and provides leadership to all assigned staff. The Director frequently interacts with the Deputy Commissioner of Design and Construction, the Commissioner of DCAMM, and other Senior Executives in order to keep parties abreast of project progress and to provide technical advice and guidance on a wide range of issues.
