Must have Retread Experience! Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate cap shop management and supervisory-level staff throughout all locations Oversee departments' workflow, ensuring optimal team effectiveness Provide performance feedback, coaching, and disciplinary action as needed Develop and execute strategic initiatives for the retread cap shops Inspect production quality, ensuring it aligns with company standards, identifying and addressing variances Maintain compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and company policies Oversee facility, equipment, and tool maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency Ensure proper onboarding and training Maintain accurate production data and prepare various reports Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and cost metrics Identify and implement process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and productivity enhancements Develop and enforce operational policies, procedures, and performance benchmarks Ensure in-house training programs are fully utilized Ensure readiness for audits and compliance reviews Work with Cap Shop Managers on shared goals and performance improvements Lead monthly review meetings with Cap Shop Managers and teams Communicate with leadership to align operations with company goals Support sales functions, assisting in customer satisfaction efforts Conduct regular plant visits to assess quality, cleanliness, compliance, and operational efficiency Review KPIs, P&Ls, adjustments, and audits with Cap Shop Managers Hold weekly conference calls for open discussions and expediting updates Monitor rubber retread inventory, order casings and oversee stock distribution Attend supplier meetings Submit weekly companywide production reports with analysis Maintain barcode inventory and oversee operator productivity tracking Review monthly expense and cost-to-produce spreadsheets Submit annual State EPA permit renewals Lead semi-annual benchmarking meetings with Cap Shop Managers, presenting performance data and action plans Develop and deliver presentations for sales, cap shop, and operations manager meetings Ensure alignment of operational decisions with business goals What We Offer: Health Insurance Dental Insurance 401k - Pete's match .25% up to 6% employee contribution Vacation - 2 weeks 15k Life Insurance - additional coverage may be purchased Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Physical Demands: Exerts 75 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
