About The Position

Are you ready for your breakthrough job? We’ve got the AI Product Rocketship for you. BlastPoint is seeking a product leader who is a builder at heart. We’re looking for someone who has shipped complex B2B SaaS products in high-growth, fast-paced environments and is ready to build a world-class product function from the ground up. A leader who can take a strong, founder-led product and install the systems, processes, and vision to make it a market-dominating platform. This position demands intensity, intellectual rigor, and an obsession with shipping value. We're seeking someone who thrives on turning customer pain into shipped code and understands that startup success is built on a foundation of relentless execution. If you're looking for a mature product org with established processes and a traditional 9-5 schedule, this isn't the opportunity for you. This isn't a typical Director of Product position. This is a call to arms for a builder. This is a hands-on leadership role for a product veteran who is hungry to get back to building, or a Senior PM who is ready to make their next leap. You won't be managing a team of PMs from day one; you will be the team before you build the team. We're looking for one of two profiles: a battle-tested Senior PM ready to leap into their first Director role, or an experienced Director who misses the thrill of shipping and wants to be a player-coach again. Crucially, we need a leader who understands how to build products in the modern AI era, where the last three years of experience with data, analytics, and machine learning matter more than the ten before it. If you're looking for a mature product org with established processes, this isn't for you. We need someone who thrives on turning customer pain into shipped code and wants to build a world-class product function from the ground up. Why BlastPoint? The timing couldn't be better. Following a successful Series A round, BlastPoint is entering a hyper-growth phase. We've proven our value with major utilities and financial service providers, and are expanding into additional verticals. Our clients are seeing clear ROI, and our reference-ability is off the charts. You won't be starting from scratch; you'll be building on a rock-solid foundation. You'll be stepping into a role where: You're taking over the product function from our founders (our CTO & CEO) who have been the acting Heads of Product and are ready to hand you the keys. The product is proven, the clients are reference-able, and the market need is urgent and growing across multiple regulated industries. You’ll be working in a truly AI-native environment. This isn't a company bolting on AI features; you'll be at the core of a team where AI (and not just GenAI) is the entire product and GTM strategy. You’ll get to monetize a unique, proprietary dataset in complex, regulated markets, a rare and valuable challenge. This is your chance to be the first dedicated product leader and build the product function from the ground up, your way. The Role & Team Context This is a hands-on role. You will be our first dedicated product leader, not just a manager of other PMs. You will be the team before you build the team. You’ll be parachuting into an environment of immense opportunity and challenge. Our engineering organization is in the midst of a founder-led upgrade to increase velocity and scale our infrastructure. You won't be a bystander; you'll be a key architect of this transformation, acting as the connective tissue between our customers and our code. Your success will be measured by customer outcomes and business impact—adoption, retention, and the measurable ROI our platform delivers. We're looking for someone who wakes up thinking about customer pain and goes to bed thinking about shipped code that solves it.

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years in Product Management, with a proven track record of shipping complex B2B SaaS products.
  • Experience in data/analytics platforms is a must, preferably including segmentation, data enrichment, predictive analytics, agentic workflows, and/or other types of machine learning.
  • Strong preference for candidates from nimble, scrappy environments rather than large corporate backgrounds…we need builders, not maintainers.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment where you've had to build process from scratch and push ahead even when things aren't 100% clear.
  • Exceptional written and spoken communication skills e.g.,you can command a room with customers and engineers alike.
  • Experience in or adjacent to regulated markets (utilities, financial services) is a strong plus.
  • Working knowledge of how organizations activate data segments to engage customers in changing behavior via email, sms, direct mail, and digital et al.
  • A demonstrated ability to work closely with sales and marketing teams as well as customer success
  • A battle-tested Senior PM who is ready for their first Director-level role and wants to build something from the ground up.
  • A Senior PM from a larger company who's tired of the bureaucracy and is hungry to get their hands dirty and have a massive impact.
  • An early product hire from another startup that scaled, who knows what it takes to get to $20M+ ARR and wants to do it again.

Nice To Haves

  • You have a bias toward shipping that borders on obsessiveness.
  • You are a systems thinker who installs durable mechanisms, not one-offs.
  • You can coordinate across multiple teams and find solutions that give stakeholders what they need to move faster
  • You are not afraid of hard conversations and can hold the line on scope and quality.
  • You are a builder, not just a strategist. You get energy from being in the weeds of a problem.
  • You see a fast-paced, high-growth environment not as something to avoid, but as a once-in-a-career opportunity.
  • You take full ownership and don't make excuses, this means outcomes over effort.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap and ruthlessly prioritize what we build next–and what we sunset–based on company OKRs, customer outcomes, and business impact.
  • Own the full product lifecycle from discovery through launch.
  • Define, track, and analyze product metrics to inform prioritization, measure impact, and iterate post-launch.
  • Own the user experience and partner with Design to ensure usability, coherence, and experience quality, balancing user experience with technical constraints.
  • Strengthen both customer and internal feedback loops, synthesizing feedback at scale and feeding learnings back into roadmap decisions.
  • Write and maintain the core product specs (PRDs, one-pagers, user stories) for our first few product cycles to set the standard for the entire company.
  • Live and breathe the customer's reality. Spend a third of your time in the market—running discovery, joining sales calls, and working with CS to deeply understand our users' jobs-to-be-done.
  • Be the connective tissue for the entire company, ensuring that Engineering, Sales, and CS are aligned around a single, unified product vision.
  • Partner with Engineering to improve planning accuracy, release quality, and cycle time. You will be the one to decide what "done" means.
  • Inform our GTM strategy by partnering with Marketing and Sales to translate product capabilities into clear, compelling positioning and messaging.
  • Own our pricing and packaging strategy, working with Sales and Finance to optimize for both new logo acquisition and expansion revenue.
  • Partner with our security and DevOps teams to ensure our product meets the highest standards of compliance, data privacy, and security, supporting SOC 2 and customer diligence.
