About The Position

This role requires a hybrid schedule and will be based in our New York City office (Tuesday through Thursday) and work fully remotely on Mondays and Fridays each week. The Director of Product Strategy owns the long-term product and commercial direction for TPG. This leader identifies and sizes new product opportunities, defines the multi-year vision, and builds strategic frameworks that guide investment and prioritization. They partner closely with UXR, Data Science, Finance, Engineering, and Product Management to translate insights into actionable strategies that shape TPG’s future product portfolio.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a high-impact operational or strategic role, a background in loyalty programs is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and strategic storytelling capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience building multi-year product visions or portfolio strategies.
  • Highly collaborative with comfort operating in ambiguous or exploratory spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Own the medium-to-long term product strategy, identifying high-impact opportunities and long-term directions.
  • Conduct opportunity sizing, competitive analysis, and market/industry trend evaluations.
  • Oversee business case development and evaluate investment opportunities for new product lines, revenue models, or market expansions.
  • Partner closely with the Business Intelligence and UX Research teams to integrate generative insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Develop clear strategic narratives for leadership alignment and annual planning.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management Data Science to analyze long-term product performance trends and growth levers and incorporate into the product roadmap.
