About The Position

Cisco is seeking a strategic leader and compelling storyteller with a visionary outlook to drive strategy and multi-functional execution for our most prominent product launches and events, ensuring our most significant innovations reach a global audience. You'll work hand-in-hand with Product Management, Revenue Marketing, Sales, and Engineering, crafting the future of Cisco by solving complex challenges and architecting solutions and messaging that move the business forward. This is a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where you will work closely with executive leadership and influence decisions at the highest levels. Your Impact As the central driver for Cisco's Tier One GTM launches and events, you will unify cross-functional teams, set strategic direction, and orchestrate high-visibility initiatives that shape Cisco's market presence. By aligning stakeholders and guiding execution-not by owning every task, but by ensuring cohesive collaboration-you will enable flawless launches and events that influence key outcomes. In this highly visible role, your leadership will drive clarity amid complexity, elevate Cisco's most important moments, and foster continuous improvement across teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or a related field within the technology industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading cross-functional teams or managing large-scale product launches.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and executing go-to-market (GTM) strategies for enterprise technology products or services.

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Proven track record of collaborating with executive leadership and multi-functional teams (e.g., product, sales, marketing, engineering).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a portfolio or examples of high-impact storytelling or messaging.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • U.S. employees are offered benefits, subject to Cisco's plan eligibility rules, which include medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance.
  • Employees may be eligible to receive grants of Cisco restricted stock units, which vest following continued employment with Cisco for defined periods of time.
  • 10 paid holidays per full calendar year, plus 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees
  • 1 paid day off for employee's birthday, paid year-end holiday shutdown, and 4 paid days off for personal wellness determined by Cisco
  • Non-exempt employees receive 16 days of paid vacation time per full calendar year, accrued at rate of 4.92 hours per pay period for full-time employees
  • Exempt employees participate in Cisco's flexible vacation time off program, which has no defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use (subject to availability and some business limitations)
  • 80 hours of sick time off provided on hire date and each January 1st thereafter, and up to 80 hours of unused sick time carried forward from one calendar year to the next
  • Additional paid time away may be requested to deal with critical or emergency issues for family members
  • Optional 10 paid days per full calendar year to volunteer
