Requirements

Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or equivalent).
Valid state licensure and certification as a licensed Physical Therapist.
Proven leadership experience in a hospital or healthcare setting, preferably in a supervisory or director role.
Strong knowledge of clinical practices, healthcare regulations, and quality assurance standards.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage budgets, resources, and staff effectively.
Demonstrated ability to lead change and foster a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the hospital’s physical therapy department, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and standards to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
Lead, mentor, and evaluate physical therapy staff, fostering professional development and a positive team culture.
Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans.
Manage departmental budgets, resources, and equipment to optimize operational efficiency.
Monitor and analyze departmental performance metrics, implementing improvements as needed.
