About The Position

Position Summary: The Director of Performance Improvement is responsible for directing and monitoring the facility-wide quality management assessment and quality performance improvement program, ensuring the facility's programs are in compliance with all regulatory agencies, TJC, CMS and state and federal agencies. The Director of Performance Improvement will be responsible for overseeing the Performance Improvement department and will be required to assist in the daily workload of the PR department as required. Quail Run Hospitalis a 102-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Phoenix, Arizona. Quail Run features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. On average, over 10,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Quail Run Behavioral Health. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing, Social work or related behavioral health field required. Master's Degree preferred.
  • Four (4) years' experience in quality management/improving organizational performance within an acute psychiatric treatment setting.
  • A strong knowledge of TJC, OBHL, ADHS, CMS, OSHA and Patient Rights standards, and any other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
