About The Position

Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Healthcare Services, Inc., has been a beacon of hope and healing for over 30 years, serving those that struggle with behavioral health and substance use issues. Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112 bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as, an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. Roxbury Treatment Center is currently recruiting a full-time Director of Performance Improvement and Compliance. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Roxbury's compliance with state and federal regulatory standards (DDAP, JC, DPW, etc.) through ongoing facility-wide audits. Position chairs/serves on all Roxbury committees. This position is responsible for coordinating the facility wide performance improvement program. A key member of the senior leadership team, the Director of PI and Compliance reports to the Chief Exeuctive Officer. The Director of Performance Improvement and Compliance is a liaison to department directors and administration to ensure that the provision of quality care is monitored and continuously improved. Core functions include: Assistance in maintaining ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the facility; Assistance provided to managers and leadership in establishing best practices based on research and data analysis Roxbury is a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in human services related field OR licensed nurse with a minimum of three years of experience in a behavioral healthcare environment required.
  • Prior experience in performance improvement and compliance regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordination of the facility-wide Performance Improvement Program
  • Facilitation of the medical staff components of the program in conjunction with the Chief Medical Officer
  • Planning and chairing the PI function and reporting findings and activities to the Medical Executive Committee and the Board of Trustees
  • Assistance in maintaining ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the facility
  • Assistance provided to managers and leadership in establishing best practices based on research and data analysis
