About The Position
Join us as the Director of Patient Financial Services! As the Director of Patient Financial Services for TaraVista in Devens, Massachusetts, youll bring your experience and knowledge where your voice matters. The Director of Patient Financial Services is an integral part of our multidisciplinary team. As the Director of Patient Financial Services: You are responsible for the day-to-day management and functioning of the patient access and patient financial services functions in the organization You will oversee all registration, admitting, billing and collections functions in the organization including patient registration, financial counseling, bed assignment, census tracking, charge capture, claims production and submission, payment posting and follow-up and management and oversight of the accounts receivable You are responsible for leading and supervising the Patient Access Supervisor and the staff in Patient Financial Services When you join the growing TaraVista team as a Director of Patient Financial Services, you'll receive" Medical, Dental, and Vision 401(k) match Employer paid short term disability (STD), long term disability (LTD) Employer paid life and AD&D Insurance Generous Paid Time Off Flexible Spending Account Tuition Reimbursement
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in business or related field preferred
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the patient access, patient accounting/business office environment
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory/leadership experience
- Experience with various technologies and systems used in patient accounting
- Proficient knowledge of all Microsoft office products, especially Excel and Access
Responsibilities
