Pathway to ISU offers structured support for a successful transition from high school to college. The program enrolls students in academic courses offered with Ivy Tech Community College of Terre Haute on Indiana State University’s campus. Students receive wrap around student success support from both institutions, academic and peer mentoring. Once a student has successfully completed the required courses with Ivy Tech Community College, students transition to Indiana State University to earn a bachelor's degree. The Director will strategically and intentionally help students in understanding the benefits of participation in Pathway to ISU. The position will work closely with stakeholders at ISU and Ivy Tech to achieve success in conversion and retention of students in the PTISU cohort. This diverse group of students will understand the requirements for acceptance, continuation, cost, financial aid expectations, and engagement. The successful candidate will meet minimum metric for evaluation and success of the program as determined by ISU and Ivy Tech leadership. This position is grant funded by a partnership between Indiana State University and Ivy Tech Community College funded though December 2028
