About The Position

The Director of Parts and Supplies is responsible for the strategy and tactics to maximize the revenue and profit of Henny Penny's service parts and supplies business. This includes, but is not limited to, strategies for both the general market and strategic accounts, pricing, and alignment with our aftermarket business needs. This role will lead both the service fabrication/assembly department and the parts fulfillment department. This role will work closely with Henny Penny's global distributor network, other parts distribution partners, and customers. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, with a focus on developing a high performing team and managing and growing a profitable line of business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor (Other) in Business or equivalent experience Required
  • 7+ professional expertise. Required
  • 5+ people leadership Required
  • Experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution role with P&L responsibility Required
  • Ability to work with highly technical products at a global level of support
  • Ability to lead and organize cross-functional meetings and teams in a professional manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, organization and time-management skills.
  • Ability to set the right priorities and focus on the few things that can make the most difference.
  • Being accountable for results -- Having a sense of urgency to realize goals
  • Excellent adaptability and multi-tasking skills – ability to consistently handle a large volume of work well.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies that maximize revenue and profitability of Henny Penny parts and supplies with a focus on pricing, distribution, risk management, and customer service
  • Evaluate and define communications needs to support aftermarket parts growth.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences by aligning focus and priorities with Technical Service, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Operations, and channel partners.
  • Own, evaluate, and manage Henny Penny’s relationship with parts warehouses and service partners on parts issues, marketing opportunities, communications, and support.
  • Develop and meet annual revenue and profit targets with plans to deliver to the business.
  • Work with purchasing to constantly evaluate stock levels and fill rates on orders.
  • Provide product lifecycle management and market expertise for parts and supplies.
  • Responsible for hiring and developing team members
  • Lead and motivate team members to ensure they meet defined goals and objectives.
  • Create and maintain an environment of ownership and accountability for all team members
