About The Position

The Director of Organizational Transformation serves as a leader responsible for designing, driving, and sustaining enterprise-wide improvement initiatives across MedFlight and MedCare. This role brings together quality, performance management, data analytics, process improvement, and project execution into a unified, organization-wide transformation strategy. As a strategic advisor and change champion, the Director ensures that people, processes, technology, and culture are aligned to organizational goals. The position plays a central role in elevating operational performance, fostering innovation, strengthening accountability, and building a high-reliability, data-driven environment. Serving as a member of the Leadership Team, the Director partners with clinical, administrative, and operational leaders to implement scalable solutions, remove organizational barriers, and promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and service excellence.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, organizational leadership, project management or related field strongly preferred; degree may be substituted by the equivalent of at least 6 years of combined experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing large-scale organizational change, performance improvement, or transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement, organizational development, or enterprise project management.
  • Knowledge of system process analysis, quality/process improvement techniques, design, and integration, at a level of complexity associated with integrating processes across multiple departments of an organization.
  • Possess a level of analytical ability to problem-solve, evaluate, plan, and direct process improvement projects and benchmarking activities for all clinical and non-clinical departments.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to relate to clinical EMS staff.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license, and an acceptable driving record as determined by our insurance carrier

  • Certifications: Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine KPIs and enterprise dashboards to enhance visibility and accountability.
  • Ensure accurate, accessible analytics through collaboration with data, IT, and operational teams.
  • Build scalable analytics frameworks that support continuous improvement and long-term optimization.
  • Lead enterprise-wide improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, Just Culture, and other methodologies.
  • Align quality, safety, and performance improvement under a unified strategy.
  • Oversee development of policies, standard work, and process documentation
  • Coach leaders and teams to enhance resilience and adoption of new processes.
  • Align culture with strategic goals and performance expectations.
  • Support development and execution of short- and long-term organizational strategy.
  • Manage scope, timelines, budgets, and communications for project success.
  • Standardize project management practices, tools, and training.
