About The Position

Were looking for a hands-on Director of Operations to help shape the future of our firm. As the operational backbone of our organization, youll oversee the systems, people, and processes that keep our teams performing at their best. Reporting to the COO, youll be both a strategic thinker and a practical problem- solver ensuring projects run smoothly, teams are resourced effectively, and our internal operations evolve alongside our growth. This is an exciting opportunity for an operations leader who thrives in a collaborative, creative environment and is eager to make a lasting impact across multiple disciplines.

Requirements

• 812 years of experience in operations, project management, or business management.
• Experience in professional services; AEC industry background is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working across diverse teams.
• A proven track record of improving systems, scaling operations, and driving impact.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Deltek VantagePoint, or similar ERP/PM platforms.
• Bachelors degree in Business, Management, Architecture, or a related field (advanced degree a plus).

Responsibilities

• Lead Operations : Ensure efficiency and consistency across day-to-day business functions while scaling processes for future growth.
• Empower Projects: Partner with project managers to align staffing, tools, and resources with deadlines and priorities.
• Improve Systems : Introduce and refine workflows, tools, and technologies that make teams more effective.
• Oversee Facilities & Admin : Manage office operations, vendor relationships, and workspace planning that support a productive culture.
• Support People : Play a key role in onboarding, training, and cross-functional coordination, ensuring every team member has what they need to succeed.
• Support Leadership: Provide operational insight, prepare executive materials, and support board- level initiatives.
