Position Summary The Director of Operations will play a central role in designing, implementing, and leading the operational systems that support Entrega’s service delivery organization. This role is responsible for helping build the operational infrastructure that allows a growing professional services company to scale effectively. The Director of Operations will work closely with executive leadership to strengthen delivery operations, operational governance, and internal business operations that support the company’s delivery teams. This is not a purely administrative operations role. The ideal candidate is a builder of systems and operational frameworks, capable of bringing structure, discipline, and clarity to a growing services organization. The Director of Operations will partner closely with leadership across delivery, finance, and client services to ensure that operational processes support high-quality delivery and efficient organizational performance.

Requirements

  • 10–15+ years of progressive operational leadership experience, preferably within professional services, technology services, consulting, digital agencies, systems integration firms, or other complex service delivery environments.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, or improving operational systems within a growing organization, particularly in environments where project delivery, resource coordination, and operational discipline are critical to business performance.
  • Strong understanding of service delivery operations, including the operational structures that support project-based work, delivery coordination, and cross-functional execution across client-facing teams.
  • Experience building or strengthening operational infrastructure in organizations undergoing growth or operational transformation, including the introduction of scalable processes, governance structures, and operational reporting frameworks.
  • Proven ability to translate business strategy into operational systems and execution frameworks that improve organizational clarity, efficiency, and delivery performance.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with delivery leadership, finance, and executive leadership to align operational systems with financial discipline and organizational performance goals.
  • Strong analytical and operational problem-solving skills with the ability to identify operational bottlenecks, diagnose root causes, and implement practical solutions that improve organizational performance.
  • Experience introducing or improving operational reporting, performance dashboards, and business insights that support leadership decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead operational improvement initiatives, manage complex cross-departmental projects, and drive organizational alignment around operational priorities.
  • Experience operating effectively in dynamic and evolving organizations, where processes and systems are still being built and refined.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and guide teams through operational change.
  • High level of organizational discipline, systems thinking, and execution focus, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on operational leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery Operations Leadership Lead the development and strengthening of the operational systems that support Entrega’s client delivery organization.
  • Helping design and implement the operational structures that support project-based and ongoing service delivery
  • Strengthening coordination across delivery leadership, project management, and production teams
  • Introducing operational discipline into how work moves through the delivery lifecycle
  • Supporting the development of delivery governance structures that promote accountability and delivery quality
  • Ensuring operational systems support scalable delivery as the organization grows
  • Operational Systems & Process Development Design and implement scalable operational processes that support consistent execution across the organization.
  • Building structured operational workflows that support project delivery, internal coordination, and operational clarity
  • Identifying operational bottlenecks and implementing systems that improve efficiency and organizational alignment
  • Developing operational frameworks that clarify how work moves through the organization
  • Introducing operational standards that improve consistency, predictability, and performance across delivery teams
  • Helping establish operational tools, dashboards, and reporting systems that improve visibility into delivery performance
  • Project & Delivery Operations Infrastructure Help establish and strengthen the operational infrastructure that supports project-based delivery and delivery teams.
  • Implementing consistent processes for project setup, delivery administration, and operational coordination
  • Improving operational support structures that enable project managers and delivery leaders to focus on client delivery
  • Supporting the development of operational reporting that improves visibility into project performance and delivery health
  • Strengthening operational discipline around project lifecycle management and internal coordination
  • Internal Business Operations Support the operational infrastructure that enables the company to function efficiently and scale effectively.
  • Supporting operational management of internal business functions such as contract administration, vendor coordination, and facilities operations
  • Introducing structured processes that improve operational reliability and internal coordination
  • Ensuring operational systems supporting the organization continue to evolve as the company grows
  • Supporting leadership in improving internal operational infrastructure across departments
  • Operational Visibility & Organizational Insight Strengthen leadership visibility into operational performance across the organization.
  • Supporting the development of operational dashboards and reporting frameworks
  • Improving visibility into project performance, operational efficiency, and delivery capacity
  • Helping leadership identify operational risks, delivery bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
  • Ensuring operational insights support informed decision-making across leadership teams
  • Cross-Functional Leadership Partner closely with leadership across the organization to ensure operational systems support company goals.
  • Collaborating with client delivery leadership to improve operational coordination across delivery teams
  • Partnering with finance leadership to ensure operational systems align with financial discipline and reporting needs
  • Supporting executive leadership in strengthening the operational infrastructure required for growth
  • Driving operational clarity and accountability across departments
