As we expand into Florida , we’re looking for a dynamic Director of Operations to play a critical leadership role in launching, scaling, and optimizing our footprint in the region . This is more than an operations role—this is an opportunity to help build EPIC Health in Florida from the ground up , shaping workflows, culture, and patient experience across new and growing clinics. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5–7+ years of healthcare operations leadership experience , with multi-site or growth experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in clinic startup, expansion, or turnaround environments is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements (Florida experience preferred).
• Proven ability to build and scale operations in a new market .
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.
• Proficiency in EHR systems, data analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Florida healthcare operations or similar regulatory environments.
• Certification such as FACHE or CMPE .
• Background in primary care, value-based care, or multi-specialty operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of operational strategy for EPIC Health’s Florida market.
• Partner with executive leadership to build and scale clinic operations across Sunrise and surrounding areas.
• Support new site launches , including staffing models, workflows, and operational readiness.
• Oversee day-to-day operations across one or multiple clinic locations.
• Ensure efficient workflows, optimal staffing, and high-quality patient care delivery.
• Implement and standardize processes as the organization grows in Florida.
• Ensure compliance with Florida healthcare regulations , including Department of Health and AHCA requirements.
• Oversee adherence to Level 2 background screening , licensure, and credentialing standards.
• Maintain readiness for audits, inspections, and payer requirements in the Florida market.
• Develop and manage budgets, monitor performance, and drive operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth while maintaining care quality.
• Establish and monitor KPIs related to patient outcomes, satisfaction, and operational performance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery and clinic efficiency.
• Recruit, train, and develop high-performing clinical and administrative teams in a new market.
• Build a strong, mission-driven culture aligned with EPIC Health’s values.
• Provide ongoing leadership, coaching, and performance management.
• Build strong relationships with providers, staff, and external partners across Florida.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with corporate teams to ensure alignment and successful expansion.
• Support implementation and optimization of EHR and operational systems.
• Help establish scalable infrastructure to support multi-site growth.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks in a new and evolving market.
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance and organizational integrity.
